The Great Bowl

For generations, pets experienced what they believed was the work of sorcery: They would empty their food bowls at night, and in the morning, the bowl would reappear, filled with food again. While it was later revealed to be the work of humans, the legend of The Great Bowl continues to be recognised.
(Footnote: It was known as the Feast of the Great Pyrenees but then the Pyrenees decided they wanted to do their own thing and the rest of the pet world was like, whatever.)
