Pet Rights Week

It might look like our dogs and cats have it easy. But not to them. That’s why each year, our pets rally around an important cause – a cause that was very likely inflicted on them by well–intentioned humans.

For Pet Rights Week 2026, we will be demanding an apology from the city of Reykjavik, Iceland, for banning the ownership of dogs from 1924–1984 – an injustice we can no longer ignore.
